Declare Expression Based on Sub-cases' Properties
Hi all
Is it possible to create declare expression that uses properties of sub-cases for calculations?
Lets say, we have parent case A and its subcases S. Expected calculation is A.TotalAmount = sum(S.Amount)

When you add an aggregate calculation to the case type rule and save, a pyCaseTypeAggregates Declare Trigger rule will be created in the child class. You could add a condition to the Declare Trigger.

You can add an aggregated property in the case type rule of the parent. It is specified on the Calculations tab in the case type rule.

@CarissaW_GCS, thanks a lot. I would like to ask for one more advise. In fact, calculations are a bit more sophisticated - for example, statuses like Rejected should be excluded from this sum. Sure, such limitations can be taking into account in a level of a sub-case. Still may be you have an idea if-how it can be done in a level of parent case?
