Date display error
During my validation I have replaced date format ie (02/17/2021) to (02/17/test), the results I am getting is (02/17/2020). the current year is replaced by previous year. is there a way i can restrict it ?

@MarcLasserre_GCS Hello. I want to restrict from going back to Previous year. It should display current date year.

Can you explain a bit more? Can you share the validation screen print? Where are you putting the validation?

@TashikaS I am giving the validation in Date input field as 02/17/20yy. and I am getting back as 02/17/2020 instead showing current year 02/17/2021.
as per our requirement we need to show current date as default and we can pick the date from calendar or user can enter the date. but when user entering wrong format with text, it is showing the error that it's a wrong format as expected....and it is changing the date to previous year, but the expected result should show as current date. how to restrict from going to previous year? Please see the attached screenshot.
