dashboard customization

when i open my pycasemanager7 i am not able to see the gear button to customize my dsashboard

Hi Prasanth,

You can find if the user has pxDashboard privilege in the access role present in the Access group.

Check the screen shot above. Open the access role where you will find a list of privileges for the users belonging to that particular access group.

For the end users add this privilege if there isn't one.

Hi Prasanth, Good morning!


Please try the following steps and share your observations...


  • Include OOTB RULE-HTML-SECTION @BASECLASS PXUSERDASHBOARD in application harness/dashboard
  • as Kevin said ensure that the end user has pxDashboard privilege
    • by default PegaRULES:User4, PegaRULES:WorkMgr4 & PegaRULES:SysAdm4 should be having this privilege
  • Include css file RULE-FILE-TEXT WEBWB PY-DASHBOARD-PERSONALIZATION!CSS in application harness
