CYYMMDD (varchar) to MM/DD/YYYY (date)

Hi,

Can somebody please suggest how to convert a CYYMMDD (varchar) to MM/DD/YYYY (date) format?

I've googled and there a lot of posts on CYYMMDD (int) to MM/DD/YYYY (date) but our data is in type varchar.

Hi,

Assuming you're getting the Varchar property from query, so you can use To_Date function in SQL itself. Then use @FormatDateTime() fuction in pega with your desired format.

However, You can also use toDate() Java function in custom HTML control.
