Cross button on Work Object do not gets clicked from Open Span

Identified the cross button over work object tab, using open span. Tired to perform click over the element. But its not working.

Any idea how to achieve this functionality?

It appears to be a Pega Default portal. If it is and still not working, you can create a support request as there is no straight solution for it.
