Now that the create stage is mandatory we also can no longer indicate that a case is temporary. Per the product documentation, the create stage being included in a case lifecycle persists it right out the gate, and the only way to create temporary cases now is if they don't have the create stage.
How do I create a case to be temporary? How do I create a case so that it doesn't include the create stage? Customers still have requirements around temporary cases, even if pega now insists that every case have a create stage. Do we just tell customers tough luck? Or is there a setting I am missing?
@NickThomas,if you're comfortable with the limitations of temporary cases and don't mind working with deprecated features in Dev Studio, there's a workaround to go into Dev Studio and directly update the pyDefault case type rule.
