Create new properties (metadata) via CMIS in Document Management System
I am working on uploading and updating files from Pega to Alfresco Documentum managment system.
Followed instructions from PDN and configured CMIS connector.
I am able to test connectivity through Connect CMIS rule to Alfrresco also able to browse for the CMIS folder able to attach docs from case.
But I could not find any topics how to create new metadata preoperties via CMIS from Pega.
Is there any way to create new metadata properties from pega?

Hi kevin,
This link shows the way to update the existing metadata properties. For example for the property called 'name' for the files present in alfresco, so now pega we can call this service to update the existing metadata for the property name.
but my problem here is i want create a property called AppNo as similar to Name.

I see, I do not see that is possible. I suppose you can always create that in your CMIS and use CMIS-UpdateProperties. I will confirm later with SME and reply back.

Hi Kevin,
I have found a way to create the new properties in the alfresco share itself and updating the properties from pega CMIS service.
