COUNTRY SPECIFIC RULE CHANGES--APPROACH
I have a case type where some country specific rule change is needed what approach should be better?
- One case type is there.
- Same case will be used for all countries.
- There are few countries where the generic flows need some modification.
- So for each country should we create a worktype which will inherit from workpool?
- Or the circumstance rule with the country property will be fine?

Hi, This is like an implementation question, rather than a support question. So, we need to understand bit more about the application to give an appropriate suggestion to this. All the approaches mentioned by you are apt, but they have a usecase on when which would suite better. For example, circumstancing would be easier to maintain when the countries are like 2-3. If the countries are like 30-50 or even more than circumstancing might not be a good option.

I am guessing Circumstancing should work here. Like Chaitra mentioned a few more details will help.
If you have access to the CSA / CSSA courses you can probably revisit the one on Circumstancing to check if that'll help.

Hi ,
The requirement is as described below
- The application has 3 region and each region has approx 30 country.
- But the case is same for all region and country.
- Some UI specific visibility condition may differ country to country.
- Current approach is develop everything in Common framework
- There are three different work pool for three different regions with separate db table.
- Now question is how the country specific changes will be implemented?

as discussed above and my two cents...
- defining classes for each country would be helpful
- polymorphically based on page class/via DCR pattern invoke the business flow.
to implement the use case we can...
- circumstance the rule
- apply when conditions
- include the section at run time using property reference.
