Specification Rule not visible when it is saved in a lower level rule
Hi,
I had created a specification in 01-05-80 ruleset which is locked in dev. environment. I need to update the use case with some changes. There is a lower ruleset available to upload the updated use case. I created the specification rule in the 01-05-70. Now I am not able to see the specification in the application profile. I can access the use case using binary search. Also when I want to check the Include Documentation box the system does not allow me to do that. I am wondering is this the reason I cannot access the rule? Doe it have anything to do with the ruleset version (lower version) that the rule is saved in? I would appreciate for any help on this.

Hi,
Thank you for posting the query. Specifications are versioned rules. The latest version of that rule is picked as per the rule resolution algorithm. Firstly try saving your specification rule changes to a version greater than 01-05-80. And then try generating the profile to see if the specification rule having your changes are visible.
