Converting non USD currencies into USD

I would like to know is there an OOTB function in Pega that lets us convert from non-USD currencies to USD? This will be used in report definition.

Eg. users enters RM400 in the application, in the report it should display USD100

Any assistance is highly appreciated

Hi,

I think we don't have any OOTB functions are there to convert because currency value will vary daily right.

Hi Vinay

In that case, I supposed we need to consume a webservice to find out the conversion rate

What would be the recommended approach? To call the service everytime the report is run, or to store the conversion rate in a local table which is refreshed every hour, so when the report is called it will be calculated using the stored conversion rates
