Converting Date time to UTC
User enters his/her time, and I need to convert it to the UTC. Please advise which function converts it into this format.

DateFormat

SimpleDateFormat dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat(DestinationPattern);
SimpleDateFormat dateFormat1 = new SimpleDateFormat(SourcePattern)
return (dateFormat.format(dateFormat1.parse(DateString)));
} catch(Exception e){
return (e.toString());
}
input & output parameters are declared as strings: SourcePattern, DateString, DestinationPattern
Usage
- @(Pega-RULES:String).trim(@(<Ruleset>:<Lib>).DateFormat("yyyyMMdd'T'HHmmss", "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss'Z'", Param.generateUTC))
