Click Child by text control missing

Hello I was using the version 84 of the studio and for windows applications I was able to use the event CLICK CHILD BY TEXT. Now I have upgraded the studio to 90. Now I see those events in the Inherited methods but Im unable to access them in the automation.If anyone has faced issues please let me know.

Hi Abhinav,

Do you mean the method is not available in the Methods available for Control in Object explorer to use in the Automation? Did you check if all the methods are selected to be available in the Configuration of Control?

Hi Abhinav,

Methods CLICKCHILDBYTEXT and CLICKCHILDBYNAME are deprecated from Build 8.0.1087 and new methods ClickByText, ClickByName are introduced to use in the Automations replacing them. However, it will be available in the Test Methods because it will be available for the automations to run, but you cannot use it for the solutions designed in and above Build 8.0.1087 version of studio.
