We are upgrading our desktop, laptop and citrix servers to 22.1.53 from 19.1.02/19.1.132

When uninstalling the 19.1 software, the Pegasystems folder in the roaming profile %appdata% folder which contain the Runtimeconfig file remains in place

After installation of 22.1.53 the Pegaruntimeconfig file is deposited in the existing %appdata%  folder and resides alongside the existing 19.1 runtimeconfig file

What is Pega's steer for management of the appdata folder and contents?

Is it preferable to delete the 19.1 appdata folder before installing the 22.1.53

Or does the config highlighed above remain supported by pega

This pertains more to the citrix upgrades as if it is required to delete the %appdata% folder before installing 22.1.53 this will require deleion of close to 1000 profiles which  will take time and resource to identify and delete

Please advise
