Capture screenshots from external sites and attach to case
Hi,
For an application the request is that in the case screenshots/attachments can be captured and attached to the case. As part of a screening process the users need to do research on sites as google or ancestry or any related information needs to be captured as screenshot and attached to the Pega case.
Is there a way to fully support this via Pega? Without RPA.
Or will the only viable option be to use client software to create the screenshot and attach that to the case?
Any insight is greatly appreciated

Hi Lammd, Capturing screen print option currently available in Agile work bench. it uses RecordingRTC and Pega have separate chrome extension for it.
Navigation Details
1. Open designer studio in Chrome browser
2. Left down corner, click on agile work bench in designer studio
3. Once agile work bench is open, you are able see video recording and take screen print buttons
4. Install the chrome extension
5. After install, click on record video or take screen print
6. Once you selected the screen print or video recording, it will upload the image or video in agile work bench case
7. Another option - if you click on attachment option in agile work bench, it will is show option take screen print and video.
Currently agile work bench code details are not available to review(pz* rules) and add in our custom code. you may have access review the code (pz* rules are accessible to Pega associates)

Tx, that is helpful. Interestingly the record video does allow me to record something outside of the pega portals (for example excel) but the capture screen is only pega portals.
Its a good starting point although it is limiting in the use of browser as only chrome seems to be supported

Give permission for the "Entire Screen" option to record outside the browser.
