Accessing Pega Case from External System
Hi,
One of our clients is looking for below requirement.
System A (External System) will have a button / link to open the case in Pega. When the user clicks the button, user should be redirected to Pega :
Assumption : User accessing System A will also have access to Pega.
1. User should be redirected to Pega in a new browser session. User should be authenticated with SSO and case should be available in the the perform mode for the user to process it.
2. If the user was already logged in to Pega , case should be opened in a new tab in the existing session without disturbing or loosing changes in the existing session.
Could you please share your thoughts on how to achieve this.

@SudhaSundeepD If in your organisation you are using AD/SSO you use the custom Authentication with model operator configuration which you can override with the logged in user in the current application to pass and then the case will be open in the new session.

@gasharma I have same kind of requirement. I am able to create snapstart URL by providing User Name and base64encoded password, through that url i am able to login but my requirement is .. that link should be SSO enabled. We are trying to put this link in one Non-pega application from there user which is logged in(SSO enabled) clicked on the link should be able to login into pega.
Can you please provide your insight how that link can be SSO enabled?
