Can Pega Knowledge Buddy get response with attached documents
Hi,
Does Pega knowledge buddy has a built-in feature to get documents attached.
Example: In a word document with content and embedded document inside and pushed to Knowledge buddy.
when request is made will KB bot response with attached document or only the content in it.

Pega Knowledge Buddy allows for the ingestion of text-based content including documents. However it is currently unable to answer questions concerning images or video and it cannot produce images or video as an output to a question. When you create an Attachments article you upload a single file which is then attached to the article. The system automatically ingests the attached content to Knowledge Buddy depending on the content type selected for the knowledge article. Therefore the response from the Knowledge Buddy will include the content of the document but not the attached document itself.

Thanks for your response, I understand only text-based content is ingested to knowledge buddy.
I have a document which as content along with one more document embedded attached the sample screen shot.
When the content is published data is pushed into Knowledge Buddy which is the document. will I get the response as attached document along with the content so that i know download the document from knowledge buddy BOT.
Do we any limitations document on knowledge buddy.

When you publish an article in the Pega Knowledge Authoring Portal it is automatically ingested into Knowledge Buddy. However the response from Knowledge Buddy does not include the documents attached to the article. Instead you can configure Knowledge Buddy to return the URL of the referenced article in its response allowing you to access the documents separately.
All I can find is Ingesting Pega Knowledge content into Knowledge Buddy which describes the functionality as-is.
@JamesCarstairs please can you help answer this question?

Pega KnowledgeBuddy returns the summary from the document if there is any matching content. However, I'm unsure if this supported the embedded document within the attached document.
