Button Action for opening share folder in file explorer

Hi All,

I have a requirement where on clicking on a button, the shared path folder must be opened in file explorer.

Can anyone help me with what way can I achieve this type of requirement in my pega 7.2 tool.

For security reasons, almost all browsers block access to local resources. However, here are some ideas and workarounds - here is one of them: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39007243/cannot-open-local-file-chrome-not-allowed-to-load-local-resource

A less than ideal approach is to display the link (including the file:// protocol prefix) and let the user copy & paste it in File Explorer. Another, probably better approach is to move your files to a web server, and serve them from there.
