Virtual Box URL missing and shared folder not visible
Hi,
I have installed VirtualBox on my Macbook and was able to run it, which means I can open Pega in the VM.
However I am missing the URL which according to the VM Installation guide should pop up. I read several threads in the Pega Community to change my Network Settings, which I did (bridged network, host only etc.). It didn´t help unfortunately. How can I find out the URL to connect to my VM instance from my Mac? How come it doesn´t pop up?
Another issue which I could not solve is the shared folder function. So I created a shared folder (so that I can import products from the LSA course) and mounted that folder automatically. The folder which I created on my Mac for this purpose is still not visible in the VM. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to install the guest extensions first?

Your information needs clarification. You have stated you can open Pega in the VM which is the way to access Pega. Open the build-in Google chrome browser and it should navigate to the default location which is localhost:9080/prweb. When Pega completes the startup (which could be 5 - 10 minutes for the initial startup), the login page will display.
The folder function may require additional extensions to be installed as you have indicated. The solution is dependent on many factors. Your best course of action is to search on the internet specifying the linux version information and your MAC OS information.

ok thanks for your clarification. I understood the Exercise System instruction in a way as I described, so getting a URL to access the VM from my Mac. But of course, inside the VM I can access Pega via localhost as you described.
I will check the extension and report in case it worked.
