Broken queue processor with error "ABC" is not as assignment step

Hi, 

Cases are stuck due to broken queue, and when checked in error XML, we received below error.

"The flow ContractUpdateValidation is not at an assignment step"

When checked in tracer we received below on exception page:

FindAssignment- FlowNotAtAssignment ContractUpdateValidation

 

Can someone help me to understand and resolve this issue.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes it is having resume flow in it.

When traced we are getting problem in resume flow and it is showing flow is not an assignment shape.
