Automated RTE support for text area
Does Pega 8.4 provide any OOTB control which users can use to type in Notes and they want to copy paste some url type content it automatically marks it as hyperlink similar to word document.
The RTE control requires users to select content use additional controls to convert it to hyperlinks.

I understand that you want a feature OOTB which automatically understand that the entered text is a hyperlink.
If so, then OOTB there is no control. But you can try some custom changes from your end.
For example, say you are using a textarea control.
1. In the textarea control, on "Change" event you can call a custom script.
2. In the Custom script, you can go through the content and use regular expression to check for hyper links(https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6038061/regular-expression-to-find-urls-within-a-string)
3. If you get it, you can use Javascript String link() Method to make it a hyperlink(https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_link.asp)
