Text Area Control - To increase the default height of the Text Area
Hi All,
I was not able to increase the default height of Text Area using the default Text area control (i.e. with reference to Specify height in px or row).
Pega Version 7.2.2
Any Suggestions??

Hello,
I had tried to set the text area height to 10 rows as shown in the attachment it is getting changed.
Kindly check into the attachment and let me know as it is tested in Pega 7.2.2.

Thanks Mahesh. I had validated the same with the given configuration. Still it was not working as expected, the height remains same.

Could you share the screen shots of your configuration where exactly you are using the Text Area control?

Thanks for posting on PSC.
I too have tried in the local environment to replicate the reported issue and issue wasn't observed.
Verify with OOTB credentials in UI Gallery:-
1. Login with OOTB credentials([email protected]/install)
2. Navigate - Designer Studio-> User Interface -> Gallery -> UI Element -> Text Area
3. Click on "View Design Time Configuration" in the top right corner.
4. Do a private edit and try to modify the text area control height or width as per requirement in the Presentation tab of the control.
5. Observe if it gets changed or not. If the issue is still persister, you can raise a SR with GCS through My Support Portal.

Thanks Asif for the details. It was working as expected in UI Gallery.
But it was not changing the height of Text Areas, when the same setting are configured on UI screen.
