Length of text control should not increase when I am giving long text
my requirement is like in text box I am entering address of many line
"length of text box should not increase instead of this text I am typed above should hide above (go above ) length of text box should be same"
in read only mode also it should display only one line if place mouse it may show full

Hello Anand,
Refer the attached document wherein I tried it meets similar to your business requirement. Please note it does not meet the exact requirement.
While entering text, to hide the characters after maximum count has reached is not appropriate from User interaction perspective. Hence, I have enabled scrollbar. In readonly mode for the field, I have used pzEllipsis control that displays the entire text on mouse hover.
PS: I tested in Pega 7.3.

Which Pega version your application is on?
Are you using Text Area (pxTextArea) control in your section?

ya I am using pega 7.2 and not only I need text field control it may any control or I can create my own control for below req.
(requirement is the height of the control(text field) should be fixed. And, if the text entered above the max length(say 20), then text entered post 20 characters must be hidden. And, in read only mode, the full text should be shown only on mouse hover. Is my understanding correct?)

How about using the TextArea control's collapsible/expandible feature? Refer the third and fourth TextArea field from the UI Gallery sample for TextArea. However, this feature is available for height as 'Size to Content'.
