Are email addresses with hyphens allowed in Pega?
Pega was not able to send an email today for a customer. I'm wondering if it was because the email address had a hyphen. I read other posts that there are some special characters that do not work with the Pega email utility. But I did not read anything about hyphens.

When a user is trying to use SSO and wants to use OperatorIDs with their oganization's email addresses, the email addresses can have dashes ('-') and these values are blocked when the OperatorID record is to be saved.
Reason: The dash isn't allowed because it isn't allowed in java names. (dash means minus in java)
