Apply Platform Patch without downtime
Hi,
I understand upgrading major, minor version we follow near Near zero downtime approach where there is a minimal impact during data upgrade and applications has to be down/outage. But i was thinking Patch upgrades can be done without downtime.
While i was going thru the documentation, i still see the same step during Patching the data schema.
"Run the update script to update the data in the existing data schema, which you must complete with your applications shutdown."
Is it true, we can't patch without a downtime? I mean patch can't be done while the app is running? ( I understand while redeploying the new war there is a impact but it can de done in rolling fashion one at time, which means it not a complete outage)
