How to apply "patch release"
Hi,
I hear from Pega guys that changing from 8.5.0 to 8.5.1 is NOT "upgrade" but "patch release". Can someone please let me know how I can apply this 8.5.1 "patch release" to 8.5.0 environment? Should I download that module from Digital Delivery? Or, should I use IUA (Installation and Upgrade Assistant) that is Java-based wizard that can be launched from installation file, that was also used for "upgrade"?
- IUA (Installation and Upgrade Assistant) for 8.5.1 - this is used for both new installation and upgrade.

According to the site, there is no separate patch modules (like Windows OS) so we can quickly install from Dev Studio import wizard, correct? We still need to use the same IUA (or command line) just like we used to do for "upgrade", and the hurdle is still high. If that is the case, what is the difference when Pega guys say "patch release is different from upgrade"? If we change from 7 to 8 it is called "upgrade", and if we change from 8.5.0 to 8.5.1 it is called "patch release"?
