Application URL Alias is not changing in URL when we switch the application

When i switch applications in 8.4, URL Alias in URL is not changing wrt to the application. 

Consider i have two applications ( A and B), and Change URL Alias for application A is "A" and for Application B is "B", then when i switch applications from A to B , i would expect the URL to change from A to B. But it is not changing and old value (which is available when you first login) is still holds on.

If you relogin with active AG(with App B), then URL is changing to Alias B.

https://<servername>:<port>/prweb/PRAuth/app/<appalias>

I tried in 8.5 also, but ends up with same thing.

Is there work around for this??
