Are there any errors in the log? Do you see a request being sent if you run Fiddler when trying to submit?

Kindly share the logs and also verify, Is there any entry for the same work object in audit trail?

As it's optimistic locking, there shouldn't be a lock on the work object but still, verify if there is any entry for the same work object in "pr_sys_locks" table? 

if there is an entry, we can assume that locking mechanism may not be working as expected.

I doubt if this has anything to do with locking or even with timing. Could you share logs and also confirm if this is only happening after 30 mins and if this is reproducible always ?

Thank you for the responses, this issue is not exactly due to time constraint. In our case, we are using a Data Page as source for an Autocomplete, so every time we access this Autocomplete, this DataPage name is getting appended to the URL. Hence the URL is exceeding the allowed URL length and we are getting HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request after case submission. 

Raised an SR for this defect.
