Advances the flow and change the work status.

Hi,

My requirement is  on cancel popout alert, if i click  on save den it should advances the flow and case should close.

And when i again open the case, it should show advanced status .

I tried with finish assignment , it advances the  flow but case doesnot close.

Please suggest any approach
