Add branches from repository issue
in 1 environment I (Pega ) created branches on the application and published to repository A.
Repository A is in environment 1.
In environment 2 (Pega),
I am navigating to App>>Branches and on right click I am selecting >> Add branches from remote repository.
I can select the repository from the drop down and then I select the branch, and click on Import.
When I click on import it gives me "invalid file path error."
can somebody help. the repository connection status is successful. screen shot in the attachment.
In the repository host id I have mentioned http:// Proprietary information hidden:6060/prweb/PRRestService

Which version of Pega Platform are you on? Mostly likely this is due to the use of the Pega-repository type. We have been in the process of deprecating Pega-repository and its current usage is limited to just the rebase feature. I would recommend using any other type of supported repository and trying again. The current list of supported repository types can be found here.

The Pega Version is 7.3.1, and I'm using Pega as a Repository, the intention is to achieve the repository using Pega i.e Pega Repository, and not relying on the 3rd party services like you have mentioned in the link.
I am able to configure the pega repository but unable to import the Branched into SOR using Pega repository. I had successfully achieved it with JFrog and File System repository.
To connect with Repository I'm using below Rest service link.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on it. It will be highly appreciable.

Hi Harsh, Pega-repository is unsupported outside of its use with rebase. The feature you are trying to use, branch import, is not implemented for Pega-repository. My recommendation would be to use JFrog since it has worked for you previously, or File System repository if you don't want to use 3rd party software.
