About Push notification in Pega Marketing
Hi,all.I'm Beginner in Pega Marketing.
I want to know Push notification. Is it mechanism??
I think mechanism of Push notification is that Pega Marketing send a message to a server (mobile apps) and then user can receive a message on server (mobile apps). Is it correct???
So, I don't know What is user. User is someone who operate apps of Pega Marketing as marketer in Pega Marketing or customer who can get offer and operator give a service or both???
What is server?? server include mobile apps??
Finally,I know example of notification message!!

Pushnotification message is nothing but marketer will send the message or notification to the mobile app through pega marketing.
User is some one who is using that mobile app. PegaMarketung uses external third party extensions to send the notifications to mobile app.
To implement this,first we need to configure proper google key under AppStudio->settings->channels.
Then the mobile app must be installed and that particular mobile device must be registered to receive the notifications. You can check the registered devices by checking the instances of class 'Data-PushNotification-Delivery-Registration'.
Now for sample test case, you can use the activity 'PushNotificationForToken' to send notifications.
