Ability of an operator to access multiple workgroup from different applications in 7.1.8
There is a requirement to switch between multiple applications and work on the cases.
The feasible option is to provide user an access to multiple applications via. switch apps(OOTB) menu in the portal.(CaseManger navigation rule)
The limitation with this approach is access to different workgroup. In 7.1.8, an operator can have access to only one WG. So after switching to different application the workbasket remains unchanged.(This is due to WG pointed in the operator ID instance).
Is there any way to tweak the OOTB code to implement dual WG in 7.1.8?
Please note: WGs belong to different applications.

Hi Gowrishankar,
The post mentioned use of OOTB user profile module. I believe it is modifying the "ApplicationProfileSetup" activity to overide the workgroup based on the access group.
Is my understanding correct?
and would also like to know if there is any impact on other rules.
