Dependent Applications migration from 7.1.8 to 7.4
Hi,
We are going to develop a new application in PEGA cloud which is going to be in version 7.4.
The new application should be developed on top of a dependent application. The dependent application is running on-premise in PEGA 7.1.8 version.
Can we just import the dependent application package which contains 7.1.8 rules to Cloud instance(7.4 version) before creating the new application?
Do we need to run any upgrade scripts again after importing the dependent application rule sets into 7.4 cloud instance ?
please share your experience.

It worked very well.
We don't need to run an upgrade script to import an application RAP from the lower version to the higher version of PEGA.

Hi,
I believe importing an application RAP from lower version to higher version doesn't require you to run upgrade script. But it will be worth trying in one of your lower environment.
