7.2 Does "Purge/Archive" wizard create zip file Always?
For below circumstances, does "Purge/Archive" wizard still create a zip file?
1. No work objects met archive qualification.
2. Data base pursing operation failed.
I couldn't get an answer by reading below prhelp document, which describes the behavior of "Purge/Archive" wizard.

I can't help wondering, if no work objects meet the qualification, won't there be nothing to zip, so why would you want an empty zip file? /Eric

The help document doesn't clarify whether a zip file created even if there is no work object met the criteria.
I haven't tested actual behavior of the purge/archive tool on v7.2 yet.

If there was no zip file created, what is the best approach to determine,
whether the purge/archive operation didn't complete normally,
or the purge/archive operation completed normally but there wasn't any work objects met purging criteria?

are you saying zip file created even with database exceptions in 7.2? It does not make any sense. Looks to be potential defect if that is the case.

No, I haven't tested actual behavior of the purge/archive tool on v7.2 yet.
The help document doesn't clarify whether the zip file being created will be removed if database purging operation failed.
It only says that "At the defined cycle start time, the purge/archive agent first populates an archive .zip file with the work items and their data as defined in Step 1. The agent then deletes the table data."
