What is the best approach for deletion of old major unused rules from the environment?
We are currently running in application version 6 and ruleset major 6. We do have a lot of rulesets (more than 80) all running in 6 major versions (06-xx-yy).
We still have all the rules starting from 1 major to 5 major which are currently not in use but uses up DB space and also affects performance in rule resolution. We want to delete all the rules from 1 major to 4 major.
What would the best approach/design in doing this? Any utility or OOTB approach available? We don't want to go via ruleset deletion wizard as it is a lot of time consuming, and also not 100% effective. Any approach to do it from DB end?

One approach may be Skimming would be the best option
Major Skim: Creates a new major version (e.g., 07.01.01 from 06.01.01).
then Update the Application version

eStore 02.01.01 => 07-01

@SubhadeepM9956 Rules are spread across different tables so it might not possible to get list and delete for only lower version. Also Pega does not recommend to delete the rules from locked RSV. But I see that the there is package service offer available in marketplace for this bulk processing of RSVs and rulesets as below:
Not sure how much cost it require and check if it fits for your requirement and works for you.
