Approach to perform a data refresh in non-prod environment to sync with production environment?
We want to perform a data refresh in our stage environment transactional and OOTB tables to sync with that in our PRODUCTION environment. We are looking forward for:
1. Any standard process/procedure to implement.
2. Any documentation which can help us through this task.
3. Any scripts to help refresh data for OOTB tables.
Please share any document or information which you think would help is very much appreciated.

Hi Ranjith,
I am not sure whether there is standard document or not for the data refresh. However few things which I know that you should mind when you want data to be refreshed in non-prod env.
-First thing is that the agents should be disabled that you get from production.
-Update all third party integration sources like for example web service endpoints should be updated.
-Clear pr_sys_queues & pr_sys_queues_sla tables.
-You also need to delete extract_marker txt file to refresh the static assembler before you bring up the server.

Hi Ranjith, Good morning!
If it is a split schema...
- could we try the following steps...
- perform a backup of data schema [example PegaDATA] in production environment
- create a new data schema in staging environment
- dump the backup and point PegaDATA to this new schema...

If I understand your requirement correctly , you want to sync from prod system to stage system.
One approach I could think of is ,create a product rule including all data instances and import the same to target environment. You can use product migrate wizard feature.

Using PostgreSql db, how can this be done--rules and data need to be refreshed down to stage/perf/test environments. Any documented approach for this?
