When delete DSS, I got the message "Failure opening the rule instance"
I created a DSS that does not exist in pega24.1.2. ID:prconfig/initialization/servlet/maxrequestsize RS:Pega-Engine value:524288000After creating it, I tried to delete it, but the message "Failure opening the rule instance" was displayed and I was unable to delete it.
I cannot delete DSS even though I have not performed any operations after creating it. How can I delete DSS?

Some times it will may having cache issues, Please restart the browser or Try open in incognito / another browser.
Can you create Temp/Private Edit of the Existing activity in the Data-Admin-System-Settings, by using the Obj-Handle-By-Delete.

Is it correct to imagine that the ID of DSS is set in instanceHandle?

Please execute the below query in your pega query runner, get the pzInsKey from the list.
In the header of Dev Studio, click Configure > System > Database > Query Runner.
Note: if you don't have access role, please add this access role into your access group for execute the query.
PegaRULES:DatabaseAdministrator
select pzInsKey from {CLASS:Data-Admin-System-Settings} where pxobjclass='Data-Admin-System-Settings' and pyPurpose='prconfig/initialization/servlet/maxrequestsize'
if you see in Results, No items, The DSS has been deleted from the instances.
It should be like this and this is your pzInsKey
DATA-ADMIN-SYSTEM-SETTINGS PEGA-ENGINE!PRCONFIG/INITIALIZATION/SERVLET/MAXREQUESTSIZE
Pass the pzInsKey in your Handle.

@Bhumireddy Based on the information you provided, I was able to set the value for the instanceHandle of Obj-Delete-By-Handle and successfully delete the DSS. Thank you. I will close this matter as it has been resolved.
As additional information, I ran SQL in Postgres referencing the query you provided, and found that a '?' was displayed at the end of the values for pzInsKey and pyPurpose. I believe the '?' is an invalid value due to character corruption, which is likely the reason why, when clicking on DSS in Records > SysAdmin > Dynamic System Settings, I received 'Failure opening the rule instance'.

And also I have proivded the pzInsKey for your DSS, you can use directly the key in your Activity.

Do you see the rule present in Records>SysAdmin>Dynamic System Settings?

@SohamM95 I have tried in a different browser, logged in again, and even restarted Tomcat, but it still continues to appear under Records > SysAdmin > Dynamic System Settings.
