stratified segment creation Approach
We need to create Universal control Group segment in which we need to pick random 2% of customer base.. but this random should not be simple random rather represent our customer base with minimal bias.
Say we have around 10 key customer attributes and it's different value combinations ... we need sample customers from each of these combinations so it represents stratified sampling of customer base.
What is the approach to configure this suing segments or have any other feature in decisioning to get this list . please suggest ?

In my opinion, the Control group should be random in nature to measure the impact (Eg: customer id ends with 01 & 02 etc..). If you use the segment approach, you are introducing bias there. You might be missing the TRUE control group value measurement. Since you are already clear with the requirements, you can go with minimal bias.
You can use Segment Sampling to implement this approach. It's a good use case to implement. Please also define the Segment referring Strategy prior to Production rollout.
