Pega robotics sendkeys method crashes google chrome

I am using a universal web adapter with the browser being google chrome. I am trying to use the sendkeys method on a textbox and it keeps crashing the browser. Before it was giving an error along the lines of method invocation exception but now it just crashes.

@MuhammadAliH2897 Is the page you are working with a public one that we might be able to access? If not, you might need to work with our support team to investigate. In my experience, SendKeys hasn't been a source of any crashes with Chrome. You can do some initial troubleshooting on your own to identify whether the issue is with SendKeys specifically or with the application itself not accepting the leys at that time. I would do the following.

  1. Verify that you as a user can send the same keys to the application and it does not crash.
  2. Add a "ridiculous" pause before you send keys. The pause should be something like 15 seconds or some really high value where there is no question that the application is ready to accept the input.

These will help you narrow down what is happening and are likely things that support will ask.

I am able to send the same keys and after adding a 15 second pause before the SendKeys I get this error now.

@MuhammadAliH2897 At least we've established that the crash is probably caused by trying to modify the app while it is working. I would suggest you open an incident with our support team, so that we can take a look at your application.
