Rich text content is not getting focused(when read only) with tab key for Accessible users(Keyboard only users)
Hello All,
We have few keyboard only users of our application and they use third party screen reader apps like NVDA, JAWS, etc which helps them read outs the focused content on screen.
we are facing issue in focusing rich text content when in read only with tab key due to which screen reader apps are unable to readout the content.
Tab key is skipping the rich text field and jumping to next available field on UI.
We did try using RichTextDisplay control but it didn't help.
We are facing this issue in 8.6.2 version of pega platform. Could anyone please help me with this issue?

@ShubhamS5054 please could you take a look at the details listed under 'RTE toolbar focus with Alt+10' related to Troubleshooting Rich Text Editor issues
To access RTE toolbar press ALT+F10 key from the RTE text area and use tab to navigate.
I believe an Enhancement Request FDBK-76382 exists to improve documentation that currently describes the keyboard shortcut keys for the rich text editor toolbar.
In Cosmos React there are guidelines in the design to handle accessibility
- tab will focus in the editor
- tab again will focus in the toolbar - tab again will focus on the icons in the toolbar.
Could you show us the configuration of the section where the RTE is being skipped?

I believe that this is expected behavior. Once the content is turned read-only and does not have any actions defined on click/ enter etc., it converts into a non-interactive element.
A non-interactive element is generally non-focusable hence TAB key navigation skips that element. For read-only content, arrow keys can be used to start reading with screen readers.
