Currently many strategic applications in Pega 8.x have their core configuration split between Dev Studio and App Studio.  This forces the implementer to use both environments to do basic Strategic Application configuration. One example of this is the Sales Automation application.  Strategic Applications should be improved so all the basic core configuration can be done in App Studio only.  It would be even better if there was a guided menu.  The implementer from App Studio should be able to create an operating MLP application directly from the App Studio environment
