Update Attachment Category

Issue (v8.3):

Attachments were saved initially with .pyCategory="File". This is the OOTB category.

We would like to change "File" to "Evidence", for the current attachments.

Running a data transform setting the .pyCategory for each page in .pyAttachments or .pyCaseRelatedContent results in good results in the Tracer-tool. However, these changes are not present on the clipboard. Thus, not saved.

Solution:

  1. Add your custom category to the case type.
  2. Use flow EditAttachment
    OR
  3. Add your custom category to the case type.
  4. Add pyAttachContent to your action set.
  5. Circumstance pyAttachContent -> for where and when you want to set your .pyCategory
  6. Add a post process data transform with the following steps
    1. For Each Page: dragDropFileUpload.pxResults
    2. Set: .pyCategory equal to "YourCustomCategory"
