Modal dialog does not start when adding a new record to an empty table.
When I add the first record to an empty table, the modal dialog doesn't open. However, if there is at least 1 record in the table, the modal dialog works correctly.
Also, adding the first entry works correctly if we specify: row editing-Inline.
The data hierarchy is shown in the screenshot. .ListCriteria used as a source.
Can you tell me what the problem could be? The use of modal dialog is requirement.

What Pega version are you running? Is it a problem you having with a MODAL from the UI Gallery? Any error on log or on tracer.

Hello,
Pega 8.3.1 version is used. Problem with default modal dialog. The tracer does not display any errors or warnings. There are 2 errors in the logs: "Section 'pzModalAction' execution error on page '' of class ' -Data-Criterion'." and "Problem appending stream null".

As Marc pointed out, could you modify the UI gallery sample to see if you can reproduce the issue there?

Hello, I didn't understand Mark's question correctly at the first time.
I made my sample in UI Gallery with a similar table and it works correctly. The modal window open when you add the first element to an empty table.
Also, when testing an incorrect option the "Please select row" error appears if you don't connect the "Set focus" action to the button.
Can this error be due to the fact that the section is not used in the case, but in the Data-Portal?
