Display/Launch modal dialog when I start a section
Hi everyone,
I have this requirement:
- I'm trying to implement a functionality which consist I pass to a section and the app MUST display/launch a modal dialog in this section.
Also, this dialog must be displayed as the image I uploaded below.

I'm not sure to get the business need here. You want the system to automatically fire a Modal window when displaying a specific Section? Without any user interactions?
What Pega version are you running?

Exactly, I need the modal be displayed without any interaction...
My Pega version is 7.4.

Right,
I think I would try to work with an hidden button. Configure a button (starting a Modal obviously) on your Section, make invisible, and try to fire it using an OnLoad event.

I was trying this option you told me, but the button actions don't have this specific action.
Another idea?

Hi Ricardo,
Perform the following steps.
1. Create a CSS class as .hiddenbutton in Userworkform.
.hiddenbutton {
display:none !important;
}
2. In your section Drag a button and configure like below.
- Go to Actions tab - Add an event Click, Add an Action - Local Action - target as Modal Dialog
- Go to Presentation tab of button and Cell read-write classes - hiddenbutton , Cell readonly classes -hiddenbutton
3. In your section, at the bottom Drag a new Section - Go to HTML tab of the section- Uncheck Auto generated HTML
and paste below code.

$( document ).ready(function() {
$('.hiddenbutton button').click();
});
</script>
This will trigger click event on the button which you have configured,whenever the section loads.

Hello,
You could try calling a Pre-Processing activity in the flow action to show the modal dialog. The activity you can use to display a modal dialog would be "ProcessAction".
