Modal dialog not working when compatibility is on

Modal dialog not working when compatibility is on. Need to open flow actions in review harness 'Modal dialog' is the best option for that. But we need to support compatibility mode for our organization. Please let me know if any work around available ?

Adding to link shared by my colleague,

It's HTML 5 and CSS 3 constraint of discontinuance of compatibility view due to the introduction of various new tags or HTML component and withdrawal of older tags.

Pega inherited the latest available component for modal dialog for performance tuning and to deliver better user experience(UX).
