Adding Event Action behavior to Custom Control

Hi All,

I am having a requirement to create an Hover Event and call a "local action" action if mouse is hovered on a Custom control. I have added Event and Action on the Custom control created in the Actions tab, but it doesn't work as it works for pxTextInput control.

Could someone please help me on this part?

Should it be like below?

I have written the below custom control code, but it does not seem to show the message "Please enter your name here". But data-focus works fine and shows the message when the focus is on the input.
