Queries related to Implementation of AI/Machine Learning using Pega

I want to know how Pega is helping to implement AI/Machine learning. For example it provides Virtual Assistant - an AI application for Email. So what all algorithms it use and how does it actually work - background processing. Could you please clarify my doubts?

Virtually all Pega AI capabilities are provided by the Pega Customer Decision Hub (https://www.pega.com/products/pega-platform/decision-hub). IVA uses text analytics feature there. It appears that you are coming from the background of data scientist, there are several Pega Academy courses targeted for data scientists, starting with this: https://academy.pega.com/library/8/pega-data-scientist. You will find more details with underlying algorithms and how to use Pega tools to model your business use cases. Hope that helps.
