Cannot create application using Wizard in Pega 8.1
Hi,
I have recently upgraded from 7.4 to 8.1. I'm trying to build a demo app with the wizard and I get the error in the attached image. I have also tried to create the app through the Dev Studio > Application Definition > Application, but is also failing since all the configurations need to be given (no pre settings for Built on Applications and Application Rulesets)
Am I missing something?

This was solved by changing from Ruleset Validation to Application Validation. Some helpful links on why you would choose one over the other here:

After talking with Pedro, we suspect that perhaps there was a bug in 7.4 that was fixed in 8.1 where ruleset level validation wasn't kicking in during the New App wizard process.
