Pega RPA quick question
Hi All,
I am starting off pega RPA with no background. I have completed some trainings online and got started.
I have a HTML table which I have interrogated using a HTML table control.I need to get this small table in Excel. I have defined the match cells and data cells and table section (don't really know what table section is ) but based on what I saw on the internet, for the get table / get data to work using excel connector , you need to define the table section. I am stuck and not sure how to proceed here. How to give the table as an input to the Excel connector. I want to do this in an outer loop. based on what I click on a different page, it will be a different table but with same structure. A separate excel is to be prepared for each table. The table itself is very simple. it has about 10+ columns and only one row.
Can you please help? If there is a video I can watch and understand the import table method with HTML table I should be good.

The ImportData method of the Excel Connector accepts a DataTable object. The GetTable method of a table section produces a DataTable object representing the cells you have defined in the section. It sounds to me like you just need to pass one to the other. After you call ImportData, then you would navigate to the next table and wait for it to get created and then call ImportData again. One of the parameters in the starting row, so you would want to keep track of that so as not to overwrite the data you've already imported. Perhaps attaching screenshots of your automation would help provide more specific assistance if this is not sufficient.
