Send email smart shape sends email despite Corr Rule having an Attach and Hold configuration.

Hi all,

We are using a send email smart shape for all our correspondences. We observed today that despite the correspondence rule set to 'Attach and Hold' , the email is still sent out.

There was a known issue on 7.3 for the same and we think it was addressed in SR-C24961 but we see it on our 8.1 environment too.

Any pointers ?

Hi Soumya,

The bug identified in Pega 7.3 is not fixed in the Pega 8.1 release. I believe that is the reason you are still observing this behavior on Pega 8.1.

However, it is marked as an enhancement and will be positively resolved in the future 8.x releases.
