Images do not load on the application accessed via loadbalancer urls

Hello,

We recently performed an infrastructure upgrade on web and app servers. We are using Pega 6.1 SP2. During the go-live, we identified that the images are not loading on loadbalancer specific urls. But, when we login with urls(SSO and non SSO) that contain the hostname in it, the images are loading up.

We are seeing 403 forbidden errors in the developer tools for that load balancer URLs. We do not have any issues in UAT as we have no load alancer in this environment. We access the application via an alias name to the web server. Appreciate any clues on this issue.

This issue was resolved. It turned out that the rewrite rules for the server aliases were commented out in the Apache security config file thus not granting permissions to load the images.
